Barrow|Hoffman, a regional law firm focused on helping condominium and homeowner associations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, has announced its 2016 Spring Seminar Series.
Board Basics is designed for Board members and Managers in community associations, and will help newcomers and those looking for a refresher. This program provides an interesting look at the history and background of associations, fundamental legal requirements and the important concepts of fiduciary duty and due process. The program also focuses on the basic administration of a condominium or homeowners association, including motions, minutes, amendments and association record-keeping. This program will be offered on June 8 in the firm’s Warminster Corporate Center headquarters and on June 9 at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
In Assessments & Collections, participants learn the nuts and bolts of assessment collections – the law, the lien and how it all fits together. This program will review the budgets, bankruptcies, foreclosures and acceleration, as well as creative ways to collect what is due to your association. This program will be offered on May 5 at Penn State Lehigh Valley on on May 10 at the Warminster Corporate Center headquarters.
